Problem Solved!

After many hours of google-fu, i found out that FRAPS was causing the new Unity Player to crash. Uninstalled Fraps and everything loaded fine.

I bought this game a few hours ago and i cannot get it to start at all. When i run it from Steam, i see the menu.
