Sorry for the problem. We were building several indexes to increase the performance of the server, during this time connections were failing, sorry about that. Please try now guys, and let us know if the connection feels faster.

Hi guys, Sorry for the problem. We are looking into solving it. In a meantime, to help us to pinpoint the cause, could you send us an email to multiplayer@slitherine.co.uk when the problem occurs with the following info: time when the problem occured (including timezome) and your Internet IP address...

If possible, send me a screenshot of the forum when error occurs, my email address is in memberlist.

The forum software supports pre-loaded, remote and user-uploaded avatars. All of them are disabled in forum configuration at the moment.
So, it is up to Iain to enable them, I will ask him tomorrow about it. When/if avatars will be enabled you will get necessary options in your profile editor.
