Pikes were not introduced until the Flodden campiagn - AoW Scots will be spearmen. A mistake, IMO. The two types that seem to be relevant for gaming purposes are War El and Riding El. I don't know how the rules work, but it sounds like that could be handled with one basic troop type, "Elephants," with modifiers to speed and combat strength based on crew and escorts.
