Hi, Dark Ages theme : It seems that the Byzantin armies were very strong in this theme especially if using the knights and Varangian. In the games I saw the varangian guard was often the key to the Byzantine victories. The armies size ranged from 11 BG to 14 BG (Arab Conquest from Richard). Regards...
