Re: Allies Victorious discussion?

Has anyone cleared all the sea mines in the Scheldt scenario, I cleared 3 and sent ships all the way down to Antwerp with out encountering the 4th one. Any info or screenshots would be a big help. The sea mines are hard to reveal, you have to be cloose to see them. I lost one of the two demining bo...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

jn1 The various Germany campaigns are conversions of the original Panzer Corps campaigns. So basically, the scenarios are what they are. That said, I can increase resource income for each scenario in Germany East 1944 if you think that would help. I will check the campaign messages. Thanks for repo...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

Playing Germany East 1944 (imported core, normal difficulty) and honestly it is a bit of a chore compared to the East 1942 and East 1943 campaigns which were really fun. I understand that to reflect the historical situation things have to be bit scarce on the resource side but here it feels like if ...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

Played the Road to Moscow 1941 campaign and in the last (?) scenario the main objective is to never lose control of Smolensk as the Russians counterattack. First time I just made sure no Russian troops ever got within 10 hexes of the city but I never had any German troops in the city itself. That re...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

Using version 9.0.7 I can't get started with "US Corps 1942-43" or "1943-44". They get stuck on the first loading screen when starting the campaigns. Any ideas?

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

Germany East scenario 2 "Korsun Breakout". The main victory condition trigger is wrong. It says "Hold at least 3 objectives at scenario end" however if you at any turn end during the scenario hold less than 3 objectives you lose the scenario. I assume this is the East '44 campai...

Re: Erik's campaigns & mods

Any advice on playing playing Germany East 1944 in general and the Bagration scenario in particular, I'm getting a bit frustrated. I understand it is supposed to be difficult but with the East 1942 and 1943 campaigns at least you had a chance to build up some reserve, here it is just trying to survi...

Re: Advice wanted on kriegsmarine

My advice would also be to aim for the carrier specialization from the start. If you want to finish the campaign air support is pretty much a prerequisite.

Re: conboy's campaigns

Thanks for the quick answer. I guess I have to rethink my strategies a bit to eke out a victory here. It is a great campaign so thank you but the sudden jump in difficulty for this scenario threw me for a loop.

Re: conboy's campaigns

I'm playing the custom campaign and all is going well (all major victories, level 3, version 9.0) until Anzio Beachhead. I take the early objectives but then the problems start with the German counteroffensive and I also notice that I keep getting a lot of RP for the British but there is not a singl...

Re: Requisition Management

I probably overuse transports as I normally have them for most infantry given the chance but it is kind of mandatory with transports for engineers and heavy infantry unless you are in a "stationary" scenario. I generally avoid AT and AA guns that are not selfpropelled, I find it takes too ...

Re: Requisition Management

1. The reinforcement cost doesn't vary, it is the same (per unit count) regardless if the unit is at 3, 5 or 9. I try to have units at 8 or higher otherwise they are not really fit for battle unless the enemy is already on the ropes. If you play at level 4 or 5 you really need your forces to be at o...
