Re: Italy: Vol.1: Campaign not available in menu
There should be, for me it's under Main > New Campaign > Italy Vol 1 in the list on the right.

Hi -- there's the Westwall FAQ thread:mg73 wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 10:36 pm Is there a manual that explains the new features of Westwall? I can't seem to find it.

It also has a bit on AI-controlled units if you scroll down a tad.

Re: Westwall DLC - Feedback
Yeah, the prob is: counters work well for pre-set objectives like "take x victory hexes" or "kill xx units". For those you just mark the hexes or units required in the editor -- the game counts those automatically, and displays the counter for that.
But this does not work for custom objectives ...

Re: Westwall DLC - Feedback
Normally, in a long campaign like AO Slow Modernization is not a big deal. Each DLC/chapter covers time slowly enough that being given only 3 upgrades per map is not a big deal until you reach 1943 and all of your infantry is at an older/lesser standard. However, in short DLC campaigns, like Bulge ...

Re: Westwall DLC - Feedback
Im late to the party - and i havent found a topic related to feedback on this. Thats strange ?
So far, this is the best "non AO" DLC for me. Tough difficulty (im playing on Generalissimus without mass encircleling and without prestige harvest).
I really enjoyed it, so there are mostly the ...

Thanks for the headsup. Good that you resolved the issue.
I never tested air switches myself, since air units are tied to airfields so I dunno how that affects them.

Re: Wierd Crashes
Had a look. However, first I checked the vanilla Italy cam using the official units file to make sure it runs well -- it did.
Your transportclass file should be fine if you didn't touch it after updating to WW (so v.1.16.03).

Re: Wierd Crashes
If you modded units before -- is there a chance you continue modding on data files from before Westwall?
WW did change entries for accepted transports/transport class on some previously existing US inf to make them work with the new Dodge truck. Also, in WW some of the new units are either present ...

Please check if you have any modded stuff available that may interfere with the most recent data updates for Westwall, esp. in units.csv and transportclass.csv.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Westwall is Out Now
Indeed, it's explained in the mission briefing, I'd encourage players to read it, as it's the best way to communicate more complex objectives.
But even if the initial briefing is skipped you can just bring up the text anytime during a battle, mpolhill.

Re: Bug Reports
Bug or possibly as designed. In the first scenario of Frontlines: Westwall, the player has 26 core slots, but units take up 25. The bridge engineers are an auxiliary unit. Not sure if it was intended, or got accidentally edited, as it's strange to have a free core slot like that.
Hi -- both are ...

Re: Frontlines - Westwall | Dev Diary #3
Bulge was more restrictive in this regard, for example air units were not available in some early battles to show the impact of bad weather at the beginning of the battle.

Re: New DLC plans after Slitherine Next
Outside Soviet arms deliveries and some domestically produced stuff Nationalist China used a large variety of imported types, but often only in smaller numbers. That would make for a nice use of limited equipment, at least partially.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Westwall | Announcement + Beta
I'd like to get in the Beta. I've contributed to a few betas, including all the AO betas. Am I too late? I applied through Steam but only saw the announcement yesterday. Was busy with work but now have a couple of weeks downtime.
I don't handle this part, but from XP there's usually another ...

I'm fairly certain there's other content in the works, but it's not up to me to make far-reaching announcements. And when it comes to other teams they would be in a much better position to share details about their work anyway.

We *may* reveal at least a few tiny new bits in the first DD, but certainly the bulk of new additions in the last DD.terminator wrote: Thu Jun 05, 2025 5:37 pm

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Frontlines - Westwall | Announcement + Beta
Quite unexpected to see another Frontlines DLC so quickly after Cyrenaica.
Indeed, but i like the amount of content per time. :D
I hope the devs kann keep this pace without burning out or something like that. But imagine...allied corps in that pacing...or soviet corps...or AfrikaCorps ...
