yeah, i am using pendraken miniatures(i love 10mm and am doubling the troops up per base..8 heavy foot, 6 medium foot etc), but they have miniatures for dismounted men at arms, retinue billmen and county billmen. so i figure i will use the dismounted men at arms to represent 'heavy armoured' battleg...

Dismounted Men-at-Arms and retinue billmen
i am wanting to build an army for war of the roses, and am a little confused about Dismounted Men-at-Arms and retinue billmen. are these to be based together in one battlegroup or do i base them as individual battlegroups?

oh...25mm would definitely stand out haha, as my romans are pendraken 10mm(i like the look of massed ranks)...

cheers. i know we used to bend the rules a little in our warhammer 40000/epic 40000 games twenty odd years ago(when i last played) but wasn't sure how things stand these days...

hi all, i am building a Principate Roman army from the 'Legions Triumphant' army book, for which i have the standard 'field commander' as my C in C, and 2 'troop commanders' as sub-commanders. the book book states that commanders should be depicted as auxiliary cavalry, however i was wondering if it...

Field of Glory : Ancient & Medieval Era
New to this website and am hoping this is the right place. I have been trying to find and buy a copy of Field of Glory : Ancient & Medieval Era that doesn't involve amazon or ebay, but i seem to be having trouble doing so. Does anybody have any suggestions as to where i might purchase a copy? :)
