Would cloaking help for the fighters? Haven't tried that yet. I guess it depends on the battlestation's radar tech.

I'd like to know this too. I tried doing varied weapons but then found I was getting killed due to a lack of range. I have heard people using fighters as escorts with long range energy weapons to then allow another group fitted with torpedos to attack afterward.

Close to 30 hours already in Polaris Sector after purchasing it 10 days ago, having fun so far and it's quite a challenge. Initially the AI seemed like it wasn't going to do much to stop me but putting up a big back and forth fight now.

I was in a similar situation and also went with Polaris Sector. Hard to say how it compares to DW but so far I like it. Plus DW2 is hopefully due nexy year so will wait for that version.

How is the match difficulty handled? I want to buy this but have read about the issues of the new one. Mainly I play solo but seems this one mostly shines in MP. As a newcomer is there a match mode for the less experienced played to get their feet wet?
