Panzer General was one of the first strategy game I played in the old days, and it has a special place in my heart.
The only thing "negative" I had with PG was replayability; the finite campaign meant that when you managed to play it like 10 times you had explored the different outcomes. With PC I ...

I agree more options is always better than less, however I understand the reasoning of the developers concerning game mechanics. The option should be available but with a "warning" in the manual that playing with FoW off will affect game mechanics and overall experience; that would be an acceptable ...

Don't neglect secondary fronts
With CEAW, the AI was pretty good on the Eastern Front, less on the Western Front, and almost dead in the Mediteranean and Africa.

Re: WW1 gamers are getting spoiled
Ageod with their fantastic gold version and now this!
I'm obsessed with WW1 history...so any game covering that War is great news to me.
I only hope it replicates WW1 combat...the mechanism in the Ageod title using combat doctrines works well to replicate the movement war and then trench warfare ...

That is very good; I did remember when I bought Commander Europe at War a few years ago, I was suggesting a WW 1 game on the Commander engine, and some other wise guy said "WW1 games are suicide because of trench warfare it doesnt work" I hope this goof will see what is going on now. And I own AGEOD ...
