It was 5 x 1 Soviets when the German general surrendered. If we played all the remaining turns, we would probably end 6 x 0, since although my side suffered huge losses, the Axis side suffered even more...

I'm here to report a Soviet victory in my game vs. Lt. Réal. It was a hard-fought battle, decided by several small things that went to the advantage of the Allied side.

Hope we have a new campaign after this one!

Ya sorry about that, essentially thrown to the wolves there. With the -200 and the SS division facing you I couldn't equip you with an armoured division. Cards were too stacked against.

No problem - you had your priorities. I probably would have done the same if I were in your shoes!

Germans won the battle between Gibrinski and myself.

I wouldn't call it a battle... The word 'massacre' is more appropriate.

Maybe if I could have more than 4 anti-tank guns I would have lasted a little bit more against the horde of German Panzers. But I would have lost it, anyway... :roll ...

I'd rather have a more innacurate gun that fires every turn than a more accurate one that fires every other turn...

I don't have a problem if you decide to return the 15 cm to its original accuracy, but since it fires every turn now, I believe its cost should be bumped up to compensate for that ...

Not to grind on this but how about the Germans get full use of their 150mm gun this round. The Russians have been mauling us on a regular basis. :D

That makes me wonder: what weapons each kind of Division can use? I mean, the Germans, for example, have:

Panzer Div.
SS Div.
Inf. Div.
(and maybe ...

For the record, the 120mm mortar can be quite devastating as well. It has good range and I've seen it take out tanks.

That's true - I did destroy a German tank with my 120mm. The 80mm isn't half as good.

But the thing that really hurt me was the morale loss - everytime I was hit by the 15cm arty ...

My game vs. Scole has ended - and it wasn't even close. 4-0 Germans.

I made a few mistakes and I think his victory was well-earned, but I have one question: how is the German 15 cm artillery priced compared with mortars?

I am asking this because, on turn 1 (maybe 2) of the game, his 15 cm arty ...

Why did the 150mm fire only once the entire game? Should have been raining hellfire every 2 rounds...

Well, I saw it firing only once. My foe had a mortar unit as well, and I could not be sure which of them was firing on which round. But the turn I saw it, it was pretty devastating... :roll ...

At this point I believe the limited fire rate of the 15cm German arty has shown itself to be to great a disadvantage to be overcome. Of the 6 games one was a German victory (and it was because of terrain ). The proof is in the pudding give us back our arty!! Come on Germans speak up!
