hastatii is the worst to fight with truaii is a lil bit of bad ... but not as bad as hastatii cuz .... hastatii ..... they shoot ... well .. spears at you and it's pretty much one hit death ..... you're front line will always die a lot ..... and since ..... hastatii .... pretty much can fight on any...

well ..... for impossible levels... the AI pretty much got unlimited resources... cuz .... later on in the game ... you can see the AIs vasselling .... well .. i dunno if i spelled it right anyways .... they are buying each other ...... while the cost ..... sometimes is as high as billions ..... :ro...

Well .... to take down one of the citie .... you need to attack em as early as possible ... 2nd round or something i think ..... after taking it down .... you need to check if there's the city wall in that city .... cuz you know ..... once you take down the city ..... it destroy some the facilities ...

now at turn 150 .... lol

no never i never build any forts it waste too much time and money (resources) to build a fort well ... if you are playing scenarios against AI there's nice kinda cheating way to counter em when the comp got a 16 squad army moving toward you (1100 people) what you need ... is to send 1 squad of small...

they are either smarter or with more resources......
cuz you can see the computers vasseling each other so often while it takes millions or billions to vassel a country with 20 cities

veterans are pretty easy to take down tho
you'll just need to get "heavier" heavy calvary .... (kinsman)
or you can try the Skythians or Bactrians

... you can also try to place your units in a different way
2 squad of xys overlaping each other

Elite units are really nice
but you got to place em correctly
by placing em correctly
Elite units pretty much overwhelm the AI's units (all kind)
16 elite squad can take down up to 5 x (16 elite squad owned by AI) and still left with 1/3 of the squads

well .... i'm on my 50th round ..... i'm using impossible ... dunno if there's any difference between impossible and easy .... well ..... what i did is just simply take down one of the city and you'll prob have 15 squads left 16 if your lucky and then ...... with the artillery on the city wall .... ...
