I'm pretty sure cloudy weather affects visibility only in the sky and not on the ground. So the bunker with vision range of 3 or 4 could see your unit.

If you had a friendly unit on the hex where Rondorf was to appear when he was due to appear then he won't appear. This happened to Lt. Joker in a video that has since been deleted from YouTube. He made Rondorf available in the next battle by using the editor.

I think some turns have to elapse before a captured airfield can be used for replacements. Maybe it is too soon.

If the unit was out of movement points it couldn't retreat and would surrender if I remember correctly. Maybe the 4 strength unit had previously retreated and ran out of movement points?

Take a look at Panzer Corps Gold if you don't have it already. It has many campaigns and is inexpensive. It doesn't have many of things you mentioned and makes for quicker play. I think you would like it. Good luck in your next battle!

PC 2 is playable in strategic mode. Strategic mode is not just a map view mode.

Just a guess here. The Slitherine DLC may be looking for the Slitherine version which you dont have. You may need to log in to Slitherine, go to your list of stuff you bought and get a Steam key for the DLC. Then go to Steam and download the DLC using the Steam key you got from Slitherine. Select the paratrooper and then press the ground/air unit view toggle button. The screen will then show the hexes where paratrooper can deploy on foot.

Try clicking on "Custom" in the list of scenarios. I believe that will display your created scenarios.

The product page for Panzer Corps lists only Windows as supported operating system. So PC is only way to go now.

Following up on Pete's number 2 suggestion you might post your issue in the Tech Support area in top section of the forum. Perhaps that would help. Good luck.
