I worked around it by logging in on the store page. https://www.slitherine.com/store . Then I clicked on my page and was able to generate the steam key no problem.

I dont suppose there is any possiblity of recieving a steamkey for panzerkorps gold if you already own the game and own all DLC's? If you register all your key on steam (you have all DLC and addons) it will switch your game to gold version automatically. Thats what I was asking basically! Sounds go...
