Re: [Axis Campaign] SS-GTPG v1.14 (17-04-15)
No, I didn't
Just checked, you are right, it shows up after the deployment. Thanks for the clarification.

Re: [Axis Campaign] SS-GTPG v1.14 (17-04-15)
I started playing this mod yesterday, and played through the Madrid scenario.
When I got to Danzig, the game told me a 110c is supposed to join my core forces. But it doesn't show up. Reloading doesn't help. Any ideas what could have gone wrong here?

Re: Battlefield Europe - Barbarossa Redux (Level General)
Great Stuff, you've made it through the worst. :D You don't have to fear much from the russians from now on. There will be the occasional IS-2s, SU-152s und Guard Infs, but they just trickle in, and are pretty easy to take on. You could have taken Leningrad in Winter/Spring '43 with just the finnish...

Re: Battlefield Europe - Barbarossa Redux (Level General)
Very interesting read. I've completed another try myself a couple of days ago, and ended up with a draw. Simply because I wasn't able to occupy the mid eastern oil fields in time. I'm very curious how the situation in Russia is goin to pan out. With that many forces diverted away for Sea Lion, I ima...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
in v1.6 I will make ground recon units much more useful as well, as they will have more movement and there will be more of them. So most ground recons will have 10 movement instead of 8 as in the vanilla game. This 2 hex increase make them surprisingly better as now they can scout ahead of the tank...

Re: Battlefield Europe - Barbarossa (Level General)
AA often can’t fire at planes even in range. You have to move the AA first. Seems to be a bug. It's just a bug with the crosshair not appearing sometimes. But you can fire anyway, just right-click on the target. Btw, I would recommend upgrading all your AA to 88Flak right at the start. It's relativ...

Re: Tipps for playing the Battlefield Europe mod
Feb ’42 – Panzer IIIJ/1: the tank gets better hitting power and initiative, which is vital for them surviving against the Russian medium tanks (although the Russian medium tanks are still better imo). July ’42 – Panzer IIIL: Virtually the pinnacle of the Panzer III series. This increases their grou...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
Historically the Germans did pretty much the same, they tried to catch the Allied convoys with their surface ships using them one by one at a time and as a result they lost most of them. In this way the Admiral Graf Spee, the Bismarck and the Scharnhorst were all sank and the Gneisenau was damaged....

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
Phil, thanks for the tips. Disposing the mines in the baltic sea, so that you can use your fleet to speed up the siege on Leningrad is a great idea I didn't have. It gives my surface fleet some purpose after all. I really didn't know what to do with those ships, so I tried some convoy raids with the...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
@Jimmy I'm playing on Colonel, so I'm already at an easier setting, than McGuba has it supposedly designed for. Yes, I've played the opening scenarios. Wasn't able to get DVs for the 2nd and the 3rd, though. Don't know if it's making a big difference on the prestige gained. Btw, I absolutely loathed...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
The scale of this mod is quite large, a single unit stands for hundreds of vehicles/guns and thousands of soldiers. And the Wehrmacht had only a limited number of those fancy stuff, the majority being the more boring towed guns and stuff like that. For example, while some 5,400 15 cm sFH 18 were pr...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
Hello McGuba, congratulations for an outstanding peace of work! It really takes the game to another level, and makes it feel alive like never before. I should curse you though, as it is an insane timesink, and I actually didn't have the time I've wasted on the game anyway :D A couple of comments and...
