New question for the devs..... The lasgunProj.fxf and lasgunProj.s4f files....would they have anything to do with the appearance and behavior of laser blasts? I cant open the s4f files but the fxf files can be edited in notepad. Any idea what the variables indicate and if they will help me in my goa...

Thanks for the reply. Just wanted my lasers to look more like laser beams rather than "blobs"

Looking in both this forum as well as the Steam forum it seems to me that the only actual skin mod out there is the Ultramarines one. Are there ANY other mods in existence?? If so where are they? I'd love different chapter colors or sounds....or (please) lasguns that look like beam weapons. Overall ...

I for one am VERY interested in your scenarios.
Despite all my efforts I have never been able to get any scenarios I created to work. (they all crash the game when loaded---fatal exceptions)

Im reviving my post after a year hoping some progress has been made. The editor is still baffling me.
Every attempt to save a scenario.....or edit an existing one causes a CTD upon trying to run it.
Has anyone here successfully run a user made scenario? If so...how?

Solo, You have pretty much echoed the biggest issue I had with this game in that my beloved Steel Legion forces where quickly made obsolete as the difficulty pretty much demands a Space Marine force. Nothing against SM's mind you but I really really enjoyed messing around with the squishy IG units a...

Im getting the aforementioned error when trying to edit scenario length in the editor.
I don't speak leet so im wondering what Im doing wrong here....
Is the editor still broken? I have re-downloaded from STEAM so should have latest version.

Ive been trying to edit premade scenarios to lengthen the game turns to something that doesn't require me to make a mad dash from one end of the map to another. I also have not found a single user created scenario anywhere. I tried to edit my own, but I too get a crash to desktop error when I do. I am kinda tired of scenarios that require me to rush from one edge of the map to another in a super limited time so I was trying to lengthen the game turns.....CR...

Im trying to figure out how to extend the length of scenarios.
I have like one turn left on a game, but it will take me 2-3 more to finish the goals.
I really don't want to refight the entire thing again, is there some way I can edit the whsav file so I can have qa litte extra time?

Is there any sort of collection place for community-made scenarios?
Im especially looking for some of the huge, dozens of units, battles that I some have posted pictures of.
I tried to make my own, but cant figure out victory conditions and thus battles end on turn one......blah.

Does it capture Epic 40k battles....sadly no. The missions are smaller and severely limited in time and units allowed and therefore 'not epic'.
