There seems to be a bug in programming or in logic: I am playing allies and I use French guerrillas to take Vichy. I expect Vichy France will surrender and be out of the game. I had to give up my old monitor for a smaller one.
Now, CEAW will not play properly. Sides and bottom have been chopped off!
I was able to adjust my other games (CTGW etc.) in their Options menu but not CEAW.

Must I re-install CEAW???

More puzzlement!
I signed on to Slitherine and saw I had a message.
The message said that I have a challenge in CTGW - nothing else: No opponent, no password, nothing!
I then got into the game and found no challenges there!
What's going on?

Question: Who was Angelo Klonis and how is he related to this game?

And the answer is... Yes!
I turned off the firewall and was able to upgrade to version 9! I never had such a problem before!

I'm trying to play CTGW against opponents but I'm having difficulties.
I am being asked for a password and, no matter what I enter, I get the message that my connection has timed out.
Am I doing something wrong?

I noticed a challenge fron someone named Stumneale.
Apparently, a password is needed for me to accept the challenge.
Can my challenger please PM me?

I've never played this game against an opponent but am willing to try - if either of you are still game.
