Mixed Units Bug (Animation On/Off)

Hi! When animation is enabled, mixed units (infantry + archers) are displayed correctly. When animation is disabled, these same units are displayed incorrectly, as a normal infantry unit. A similar situation in FOG 2 Medival in mixed units of infantry + crossbowmen. How do I fix this if I don't want to enable animation? Which file should I edit? Thanks.

The game's engine doesn't support more than one type of model per unit. The mixed archer and some other complex units have been done with animation tricks as a workaround, and I guess turning off the animations restores the unit to its default state (which in this case is the "main" spearman model). I'm pretty sure this can't be avoided or fixed (in a practical manner) with the animations turned off.

Is the Renaissance (FOGR) and the conquest of America by the conquistadors planned on the FOG2 engine or as a separate game?

Not currently
