[...] There is no
flying bomb made in Germany in the game
Of course, but we have already solved this "problem" in some of the last scenarios of the Free France campaign.

A smart use of the Ohka (
Japanese model MXY7) will do the trick.

Yes, but the TRUE trick of the darned things is getting them to do what you want them to do! They are quite ornery ... plus the Colonel and I found out that they are quite weak against land targets, so some additional trickery is necessary.

Cool fortress, looks especially hard if there's hidden infantry in it.

Will you somehow show the flooded area on Walcheren when the Germans blew up the flood banks?

Oh, trust me. Maybe on a random basis as to what is actually found in there (four hexes are open), but certainly one 88mm AA/AT Flak gun. Plus, as I mentioned, the sea fort, the two fortresses, and the two coastal guns are going to be "hardened" in that they will be impervious to air, sea, and land bombardment and to tank fire. Engineers will be needed to finish the job.

Very interesting...looking forward to trying my hand at it. Little toe on my left foot is starting to wiggle a little bit...
Battle Academy had a version of 4 or 5 of the Scheldt battles...Cave Hobbit and Land Marine, IIRC.

Thanks. Remember, though, the fort is just a sideshow. It's will be much more than that, hopefully. When it's ready, I will link this thread to the Bru's Scenarios thread.

How do you make units impervious to stuff, is there some pre-made trait that modders can use or do you alter the unit's stats?

It involves repeating triggers that restore the specific unit(s) back to full health the moment that they sustain any damage. I've done this before; I may have to consult my archive to remember how.
But it is a trigger setup, not an after-market unit modification. (Using the terms "mod" and "modder" sometimes confuses matters. Many people consider what I do, designing scenarios and campaigns but with the VANILLA version of the game, as "modding." Other people think of "modding" as tinkering with the unit images and data files themselves, which is something that I have not done, yet.)

Always a nice feeling when the scenario map is done and one can move on to units, objectives, and triggers.

(don't worry, mate, I'm just kidding)
(Normally sized for legibility.) I am glad you are kidding, else I would think that you may lack a sense of humor. As it is, perhaps my humor
is misplaced with you, given the time and effort you put into your response. I will remember that possibility.

When it is finished, a link to
The Battle of the Scheldt will appear in the
Bru's Scenarios thread in the Scenario Design forum. Thank you for your interest in my work.
