AI turn stuck on "Thinking"

What to do?
Hi, would you be able to provide a savegame of this? This would be very helpful. It may be required to zip it to get it accepted.
The game probably crashed at that point freezing the screen. I will not say that often happens these days, but it does happen. Nothing to worry about if it does not recur (or it doesn't recur for quite a while). If it continues to happen, however, then you may want to look to your computer as to sufficient hard drive space and recently defragmented disk. Try excluding the game files from your anti-virus monitoring (but don't turn off the anti-virus altogether because that is not safe). If all else fails, completely uninstall and reinstall the game, assuming that you have your product keys. Glad you are okay so far; good luck.Tumba wrote: Mon Apr 06, 2020 7:35 pm Panzer Krieg DLC. Waited 45 mins+. The progress bar was 100%, but stilll "Thinking..." .
Restarting game didin't help. Tried several times.
But restarting computer might have, worked fine next day...
Go figure...
Case solved, I think...
Thanks for the help.

Happens sometimes. No need to reinstall the game.
Thanks, GabeKnight, that worked, although I lost some progress. Must have been a corrupt savegame file.GabeKnight wrote: Sat Dec 26, 2020 4:19 pmHappens sometimes. No need to reinstall the game.
Restarting the game and/or reloading the most recent savegame usually solves this issue. If not, try loading a savegame from some previous turns - and as last step try restarting the scen itself.
There were instances where this was happening when there was some joystick, controller, pedals,.... (or their software) plugged into your PC.russkly wrote: Tue Jan 05, 2021 3:41 pm There is another odd thing happening: when I click on a saved game in the Save/Load screen it starts scrolling up or down the list, and I can only stop it by right clicking.
Good call, GabeKnight, and thanks.GabeKnight wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 5:53 amThere were instances where this was happening when there was some joystick, controller, pedals,.... Hhhmmm...didn't work, even with joystick disconnected.russkly wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 9:41 amGood call, GabeKnight, and thanks.GabeKnight wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 5:53 amThere were instances where this was happening when there was some joystick, controller, pedals,.... That would make sense, since the X52 Pro I have plugged in has a mouse function too including scroll wheel, so this may be causing input issues.
I'll disconnect it and see if the problem recurs.

It happens as soon as I click on a savegame file in the 'Save and Load' section of the menu.russkly wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 12:05 pmHhhmmm...didn't work, even with joystick disconnected.russkly wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 9:41 amGood call, GabeKnight, and thanks.GabeKnight wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 5:53 am

Any other ideas?
I recall some guy having the same problem with his flight sim setup.russkly wrote: Thu Jan 07, 2021 4:48 pm This is with joystick unplugged...unless it's the rudder pedals causing some input confusion, but they are more fiddly to unplug and plug in all the time...
