Diplomacy Open beta reporting

Dear players,
As you may now see, we have announced an open beta for our upcoming big patch on Diplomacy. If you have some general comments, or questions, it is ok to post them here, in this thread.
For specific remarks and any issues or bug reports, please go here, so that discussions stay focused and get proper attention:

I'll try to add a FAQ here for the most common questions.
1. Can I continue playing MP games with the beta running?
A: The beta is a separate version and game (1.06.5) and reach a separate beta server, if you want to play a multiplayer game with the new diplomacy system.
It also means that to reach your ongoing MP game, you need to launch the regular 1.06 version. Both are separated/insulated from each other.
