Plane movement path

I encountered this several times by now, started with the v5.2.3/64bit update:
Flight paths sometimes cross enemy planes' locations, resulting in an attack (fighters) or an ambush situation (bombers). This is new. Hope it's a bug and not a new feature...

I just wanted to land my damaged plane, but it was impossible as it is.

Hi GabeKnight,
It looks like it is the bug which you had during the test of my scenario Kursk (SovietCorps) ?

I hadn't thought of it, but now that you mention it, could be.
But I remember that the enemy AI has the same "problem" at times (a retreating bomber flew "through" one of my fighters once... :) ), so it should have been reproduced via the replay, I imagine.

Seen this in all official campaigns and is definitely a bug. Doesn't happen always though and there are workarounds by setting the plane to fly a nearby hex instead. Occurs when plane needs to navigate a cluster of enemy planes that surround it. The pathing simply fails to account for 2+ planes. Pathing works fine with one.
