Additional units

is anyone going to try to mod some new units into the game?
for example:
Each warband can be unique
from triballi's to galatians ,gauls and iberians
there can be different phalanxes, according to the period
Hypaspists,Elite peltasts (heavy inf)
Unique Armoured cavalry for each faction
Armenians
Some carthaginian units etc


i'd be willing to help in any way i can as an auxiliary or a support, i have no real viable technical knowledge tho

I'm trying - but I can't seem to find a way to get new units into the game. Have added all files and info that seems to be needed (dds files, added to Army List, added to text file, added to both Squads spreadsheets), but no luck.

Assuming you are doing this in a custom folder, you need to be aware that the file structure is slightly different than in the main build, and things won't replace the vanilla files if not in the correct place.

You can see the correct file tree at the end of this document:

As you can see, the squads file goes in the main folder of the custom "campaign", not in the /DATA subdirectory like in the main build.

Also, although it does not show it in the diagram, the ArmyList.txt file also goes in the main directory of the custom "campaign" and not in the /CORE subdirectory like in the main build.

If you get stuck, email me the stuff and I will see if I can figure out why it isn't working.
