Expansion ideas

Since the release is coming up quick, and the Let's Plays have given people a fair idea of what the game is like, i figure it may be time to come up with some ideas for future expansions for the game.
this is not a place to insist on modifications or revamps of the current game's ships, gameplay, or style, but rather a place to wishlist for future expansion adding onto the existing game.
for myself, i would want to see a map expansion. the current one is good, but Blood and Chrome has places like the Nebula/Asteroid cluster where the Ghost Fleet was hiding, and adding a couple spots to the map like that could make for interesting gameplay options.. especially if the tactical maps for them have reduced Dradis range from the nebula, and lots of asteroids to dodge. would allow for battles where the emphasis is more on recon and hit-and-run.
Blood and Chrome also gave us names for some of the smaller worlds in the Helios system, like Djerba, which is apparently a moon in "sector 12" (which is also where the nebula and asteroids hiding place of the Ghost Fleet is) (there are also Medra, Trevor, and Troy, mentioned in the series, which are apparently smaller inhabited sites in the system. probably moons of gas giants and such.
finding a way to add these (perhaps expanding the strategic map outwards a bit and adding stuff along the fringes of the system?) would allow for a future expansion to really open up more campaign options, both in campaign missions ans in random missions.. you have a bigger area to fight over, and more places to go.
another thing would be to get some of the Blood and Chrome starships added. the Orion Class 'pocket battlestar' (such as the Osiris) for example looks like it would be an interesting alternative to the Adamant.. the Orion's had enhanced sensors, a small fighter bay, Missile Tubes, a few light anti-ship guns, and a large amount of point defense turrets.
the Osiris in B&C had a stealth hull making it hard to detect when it is silent running mode.. that could be a sub-class in the game, or made a standard feature, giving it a a toggleable mode that disables the weapons and reduces the sensor range, but allows it to sneak around.. would certainly add some gameplay options there.
or the wedge shaped vessel seen in the ghost fleet, what the fans call the "defender class". it has quasi-TOS looks, like the Artemis class battlestar does, so might be usable as a cheap pre-war cruiser class of some kind.
