Hi,
It will be great if you can make waipoint to go from a place to anothere when you decided to go fast because often the IA makes stupis actions and throw you in the hand of the ennmy. Its very enervous!!
With waipont such action never occured. Dont you think so. When a scenario is lose on such stupid action, its ...Grrrrr.....

I don't know what you mean. The routefinding shows you the route it is going to follow before you choose an order.
Cheers

What I think he means is that if you order a unit to "Go over there!" and hit "Go!", the unit will run off, sometimes into one or more enemy units' LOS.
It's not the game's fault. What we - as players - need to do is study the suggested route and change it if required and/or advance in stages. It increases the risk of mechanical breakdowns (% chance per new move) but is safer.
But talking as an iPad user, I understand it's simpler and less effort to just send them on their way - and suffer the consequences.

Waypoints would be cool if done right. When I do what John is describing I tend to lose tiles and not be able to complete the movement I was envisioning. If I can't find the right path and resort to tile by tile movement, there is a loss of tiles. It's a toughy but I actually agree with the game in current form because it is limiting. Tiles have to be regulated otherwise you would be able to roam all over the map until finding your final position. So I guess a compromise would be something like waypoints with a fixed number of tiles movement. Moving only by waypoint would be tiring though. Having the option to do either one could be cool. I would probably use waypoints sparingly as it would be too time consuming and I am lazy or playing at work so trying to get done quickly!
It would solve something that frustrates me sometimes. I have had scenarios where my tank can only go 3 tiles forward but like seven backward or some other direction I dont want to go. Again though, this doesnt happen that much for it to be too big of a headache. Plus as a bi-product, its taught me patience...
