I don't even play the game anymore because its HURRY HURRY HURRY HURRY its actually boring now, you get no time to enjoy anything its like a foot race and then rinse repeat for the next map. I bought the new DLC's and have played 2 scenarios and thought hell this is just the samething over and over and over again. I'm not trying to bash the game I just honestly got bored with it, and I think I know why, its the campaign set up. I never have been a fan of linked scenario's they grow boring after the first time playing them.
IMO I have always thought that Total War series had the right idea, Turn Based Large Operation Map -> Timed Battle Map (leave out the RTS and keep IGOUGO Format). You add that feature where I'm moving my Corps around a Operation Map where at 1 Part of the Map I might have a small force defending multiple cities and the mentality of you fight with what you brought and no prestige points to buy stuff, and this game goes off the charts on the fun factor but for me right now, sorry just to repetitive.
Now I will say the Slitherine team has what alot of other big companies don't have with there customers IMO and thats communication, I might not agree with some of it but still think thats what will make them a successful company and will in the end push them higher up the charts when it comes to succesful games they produced. I'll check back and keep my game up to date (patch wise not DLC wise) but just honestly have grown bored of game but keep up the good work!!
