Hot @ Cold Effect (Infantry Tactics)

Since the release of Market Garden, which emphasizes infantry survival, I wanted to quickly explain the "Hot" and "Cold" effect that isn't really seen as much in the other campaigns.
What is the HOT and COLD effect? (thank you for asking) ...
If your squad is currently "hidden" in a covered tile (e.g. building, woods, fortification, roughground, etc), and fires on the enemy and becomes SPOTTED, not only is your squad "spotted" but the tile the unit occupies is now HOT ...
The HOT tile means that any COLD unit (not previously spotted) that moves into the HOT tile now becomes "spotted".
Furthermore, that unit that originally became "spotted" is now HOT, and remains HOT until the next players turn, even if it moved to an adjacent covered tile that was COLD.
Now, before you start crying
... Think of the HOT tile as an area that is now being heavily observed by the enemy, meaning ... if a cow strays into that tile it's toast ... or shall I say Filet Mignon!
Overall ... To survive as a foot soldier in BA, you need to remain COLD ...
How you remain COLD is up to you ...
That's all I'm going to say ... Godspeed Gentlemen
