Kings of the Castle Pairs

Dear FOG addicts, this contest is based on the kids game where the Kings of the Castle take on all comers (I am the King of the castle and your a dirty rascal).
It is a pairs event. The reigning Kings pair accept challenges from pairs wanting to knock them off to become the new Kings. Challenges can take any form - points size, book restriction, FOW, double moves, paired scenario matches ... The 2 games do not have to be the same points or structure.
Winning team is determined as follows
- both players win their game (no paired scenario chosen)
- one win each --> biggest overall BG's kill differential ratio wins (no paired scenario chosen)
- if a paired scenario is chosen as one of the matches then the winner of a match is the winner of both scenario games, or if the match is split the winner is the player with the higher combined BG differential
- where a paired scenario is part of a win each between the pairs then the overall BG's kill differential ration will take into account all games
I hope the above works out, I have not thought about it too much and it can be tweaked after more consideration.
As the initiator of this contest my brother (pantherboy) and I (CheAhn) will be the inaugural Kings.
This thread should be used for any messages - general discussion and battle outcomes including battle reports. I will set up another post to hold the queue of challengers. This will be edited when the results come through as a running record of the performance of Kings and challengers. Update of this forum with results will be the responsibility of winning pair (if there is disagreement in calculating the winner I will arbitrate). Challengers should simply add the names of their pair to the queue.
See you on the field of glory, and best of luck to all.

As 99% of us don't stand a chance against your pairing I think you might be the only kings, never mind the inaugural ones.

Although i agree with the above sentiments, no reason not to at least try.... The challengers at least can call the shots on type of match armies restrictions etc , the Kings only get the hill
Any one interested in teaming up with myself for go ?

Erm . . .

Rex, my next scheduled thrashing by pantherboy and his brother CheAhn is in my diary for July when LOEG Season 6 starts. Seeing as I still have the plaster casts on from the last time I played these two superb players, I am going to politely decline this time. I am sure you will find someone else to join you soon. Frank? Russ?

apologies, but Triarius appears to have taken a vacation (hasnt answered PM)
Dont want to hold up the Q....
perhaps a suggestion for challengers: You only are entered in the Q when you actually post on the board a challenge with armies , rules and players??
Anyways , if a team wants to jump ahead feel free to do so to get this rolling...

Welcome back T
ok Hill hogs, here is the challenge
Mid Republican Rome vs Early Seleucids (both from RoR)
rules
600 aps
no allies
3 leaders minimum
mixed or better terrain (better meaning open /very open)
dm's /fow on
Triarius will issue a challenge for the army of his choice and either PB or Che can accept and play with the opposite army
ie
if Triarus picks Roman, then Roman vs Seluecid(either PB or Che)
my game will thus then be Seleucid(me) vs Roman(whomever doesnt take above)
Hope that makes sense....Cheers!

Nik I'll take up the challenge versus Triarius using the Romans as if memory serves me right you prefer playing with Seleucids.
Cheers,
