first impressions from 30mn game play

The game feels like PG series but it looks much better! Well done for that guys.
I played the Tutorials 1-4. Great maps for tutorials - will you incorporate some guidance? it'll be nice.
but whoever played anyof the Generals games won't have a problem to find its way.

I have noticed that there are no surprise attacks. Like when you go into a hex and in the next one there is an enemy unit. I think you need to consider adding this. it'll be a penalty for not scouting the battlefield first.
Another comment is the German Pioneer unit. it's OK to differentiate from the foot solders but a "fighting upsidedown boat"? I would prefer a better pic but this is a minor comment.

Surprise attacks exist, just no good indication yet. But if you press L after you run into a hidden unit you will see in the after-combat log that an ambush was triggered.

We are still thinking what will be best for bridge engineers, stay tuned for updates. :)
