The Little Things

I figure i will start a Topic on not necessarily bugs or problems reporting(but more then welcome) but little things that make up the game itself. Things that you feel could be improved or fixed. Do take into consideration that what I,you,or we feel is right, may not be for others.
SO first off i guess i'll start, first playing the battle in Norway, and looking at the strategic map, and it hit me,it would be nice to have on the map showing who owns what city's, just like in the normal map view. Of course this could be fixed with a simple flag ownership over them. And also that when upon controlling key city's, it would be nice to have the gold ring around them change color, to lets say Dark green or, well it dont matter, just really a indication to show what you have annex thus far.
Another is the battle animation, now i know this is still the beta, and many things will be improved till then. I feel that the speed of which they play out can be faster. I prefer the old retro style(PG),myself, that is upon attacking a unit, that the damage effect(with some explosion too) is instantaneous.
Since i get tired of hearing a fire noise,then wait,then a explosion,then damage, and in other cases having the steps mentioned, repeat themselves, against you when they counter-attack. I'm mean the animation itself is not long, but it does get kinda boring to watch or have such time delay.
