Can I know what kind of troops are in the Austrian army list, is cavalry det. horse or what?
There are superior inf. or cavalry units?
Also my little (18mm) Eugenio von Savoy is waiting for

Up to 12 bases of superior foot, no superior horse.
The Imperial heavy horse are mainly Armoured Average Determined Horse, which can be fielded either as Carbine, Melee Pistol or (in western front armies only) as Impact Pistol, Melee Pistol.

Irregular Miniatures do a generic 15mm Western European range which seems to cover the Austrians.
Have you seen this link that gives regimental colours & facings ?

Thanks Scrumpy. I do not think I will start on the Austrians for a short while, a big bag of lovely Ottomans has just arrived from Legio Heroica!

We have not specified which units the Superiors represent, so you can go with what feels best to you.
The infantry start off as 2 pike, 4 shot (only before 1675), then become 1 pike, 5 shot (only from 1675), then some 6 shot (only from 1691).
No bayonets for the Imperial regiments. However, the optional troops list includes lots of Germans with bayonets (and no pikes) from 1689 - but none of these are Superior.

In the playtest lists the late foot of William and Louis XIV were all determined foot. Did that remain? I know there was some discussion about what should end up being determined foot, but I lost track.

I spoke to the chaps at Salute on Saturday, one said he had not switched on the button to allow pre-ordering in the shop. Perhaps someone could grip him for being slack and get it sorted!
Cheers,
Nick

I've had an email from Amazon to tell me that this has been delayed. Has anyone else heard anything?
