Dismounting cavalry

Some cavalry, for example Ghaznavid Ghilman, can dismounto as MF; ¿what kind of movement that is and how does it work?; ¿where is it regulated in the rules?
Dismounting is only at deployment - ie there is no dismounting troops are deployed either mounted or on foot - page 147tamerlan wrote:Some cavalry, for example Ghaznavid Ghilman, can dismounto as MF; ¿what kind of movement that is and how does it work?; ¿where is it regulated in the rules?
Ian, they deploy mounted. At the end of deployment they may choose to dismount. Some cunning armies out there can turn into a nasty surprise once your mounted killers are facing them.timurilenk wrote:Dismounting is only at deployment - ie there is no dismounting troops are deployed either mounted or on foot - page 147tamerlan wrote:Some cavalry, for example Ghaznavid Ghilman, can dismounto as MF; ¿what kind of movement that is and how does it work?; ¿where is it regulated in the rules?
Well that is true they can at the end of deployment (like my Arab Conquest lancers) and they can be deployed dismounted - you are right though it is normal to deploy mounted and then dismount to give flexibility.philqw78 wrote:Ian, they deploy mounted.
