GBM Download Speed

Hi, I just purchased great battles medieval but my downloadspeed is sitting at around 10k/sec. I've got a 20meg cable line and other sites are fine so is this the sort of speed I should expect? At this rate it's going to take over 24 hours to download!
Are any mirrors available for the download?
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob
the download service is something we pay a premium for so I will chase this up immediately.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Be sure Iain will take this up with Digital River first thing tomorrow morning when the office opens in the UK.
I do not know if this helps, but have a look at the Digital River support and FAQ

I am kicking DR butt on this but it sems to be a system wide issue for them. I don't know how to apologise guys - this is very frustrating for us as well as you.

DR say they have fixed the issue and everything should be running smoothly now. If anyone who was having issues can confirm that would be great.

I'm still getting the forbidden error, have I exceeded some sort of limit after the download kept timing out?

Can you try without a download manager enabled and if that does not work send your order number to
info@slitherine.co.uk and we'll get you up and running ASAP.

I'm not sure why that would be. I am sure Iain will take it up with DR on Monday. Was there a reason that you don't just take the original installer file home on a disk?
Cheers

Pip,
Come now my good man...if i did that then what would YOU do on a Friday night/Sat morning????
I mean, aren't i helping you keep gainfully employed in these troubling economic times by my juvenile questions?
Geez...(DW slowly exits stage right, scuffling his feet and whistling out of tune...)

p.s. thanks for the suggestion, copying over now.
