In my current game which has been going since the full release I have been playing Muslim spain now Al Andalus. Just after the new patch I was playing when I got a message that my relations with the Pope are strained and I have been excommunicated. This message popped up for two turns. Being a Muslim country I figured I had bad relations with the Pope anyway but not sure excommunication should have applied....

Apparently this new Pope in 1.04 doesn't discriminate, he hates everyone! He's been doing it to orthodox too!

All inclusive? even pagans?
