Why no suppression and full damage?

I apologize for the yet-another-combat-screen topic, but I'm able to understand the combat log 99% of the times but sometime something like this shows up

- combat.PNG (573.66 KiB) Viewed 459 times
I have two questions:
1) Why is the full damage applied before the enemy can attack back? The difference of initiative is 3, shouldn't only 60% be applied at the begining?
2) Suppressions number are off. With 6 killed and both unit being 0 stars, I'd expect 3+1 = 4 suppression. Moreover the screen mentions 6 kills only, it doesn't even report the blue die. So, what is happening here?

honestly i'm not very familiar with how to read these reports , but did the defender had only 1 unsuppressed strength before attack? that would explain all

My guess is:
3 ini difference
=> 60% of your dice rolls count before enemy shoots back
=> 5 of 6 (10 str * std rate of fire * 60%) first rolls are red "kill rolls"
=> 5 kills + 2 suppression (5 kills / 2 rounded down) from those first 6 rolls
=> enemy shoots back with 8 str - 5 kills - 2 suppression = 1 unsuppressed strength
last 4 rolls (including 1 kill and 1 suppression roll) are applied after that
Panzer Corps engine removes all suppression from attacked unit, after the combat is concluded (no lingering suppression)

Ah yes, that totally make sense. The fact that 60% of kills+supp is the same as the number of kills totally misled me.
But still, suppression should have been reported in the combat window, as it's correctly reported 99% of times. I guess I'll just call this a graphics glitch and move on
