Mods Featuring Alt-History Paths?

Just started getting into mods for OOB. Are there any big mods that have alternate history paths for campaigns?
Sounds like that would be pretty insane. Not a fan of the huge battle maps but it could be fun.KarisFraMauro wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2023 7:31 am Excellent question. I think there are some, but only single player based on what I've seen. Tried nagging Parreigo into making something the scale of his "The Russian Campaign" (largest map I've seen) but in an alt North America where Rommel overthrew Hitler and allied with Stalin. Naturally the US would have to ally with Japan to fight them off![]()
What's your mod? I'd like to check it out.StuccoFresco wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2023 12:23 pm Uhm, mine is set in a completely made up world so it doesn't qualify.

This is pretty interesting that there aren't any specializations and you play as Yugo in 1940, Britain in 42, and Yugo again in 43/44.StuccoFresco wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 7:25 amHere it is: https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=108116Thunderhog wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2023 9:44 pmWhat's your mod? It's a total conversion, it comes with its own manual so you can check out the features and understand if you like it before downloading it. I'm currently polishing a new version which will introduce two other factions (Italy and Byzantium) and two new campaigns as well as minor balance "fixes".
Yeah I kept specializations on the side because I have to understand them much better than I currently do. Keeping separate campaigns alternating the side complicates matters, so I was still on the fence. A single campaign spans less than a single year so introducing those kind of "technology tree" feels a bit strange to me.Thunderhog wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 1:26 pm This is pretty interesting that there aren't any specializations and you play as Yugo in 1940, Britain in 42, and Yugo again in 43/44.
