As the title suggests
How do you slow the speed of unit movements

Do you mean the speed with which the animations take place for both the AI and your moves? All that stuff is in the settings. There are actually lots of cool and not well-known things you can adjust there. I suggest you spend some good time exploring it all. You are likely to discover other things that you will find useful for you too (like I did with enlarging the size of the strength counter on the unit so I could see it better!).53rdVaInf wrote: Wed Aug 11, 2021 2:42 pm As the title suggests

Of course, during the AI's turn you could alternatively just sit on the space bar and speed through it that way.PoorOldSpike wrote: Wed Aug 11, 2021 6:42 pm
Personally I slide mine nearly all the way to the left for very slow movement in small scenarios, but on a bigger map with lots of units I'd slide more to the right or I'd be waiting forever for each unit to finish its move.
Actually it's worse than that! You might not see it at all because when hold the space bar down, it allows the AI to move multiple units at the same time in multiple areas as well. But it doesn't jump the screen to show all of their moves, only those where your screen is centered at the time you held the space bar down. So, for example, you won't see the moves/combat at all that occur on the other side of the map.PoorOldSpike wrote: Fri Aug 13, 2021 2:02 am A gripe of mine is that when a long-range enemy artillery unit fires from an unspotted hex in a greyed-out fog of war area, it only stays visible for a few seconds then disappears again, like a de-cloaking / cloaking Klingon Warbird, grrr...
This means that if we play at a fast speed setting it'll only be visible for a fraction of a second.
Suggestion to the devs-
Make the arty stay visible right through our following turn so that we can clobber it.
