More signs like tilde (~) in TEXT.txt files?

The "tilde" (~) sign in the TEXT.txt files designate a new row. Are there any other signs/symbols that can be applied in the TEXT.txt files, such as for bold or italic or for different colors of the text?

As far as I know, no.

As far as I know, no.

I believe most of the standard string modifiers should work in text file strings.

Ah, my apologies for the incorrect information I gave. I have only used those controls in scripts. I haven't tried using them in the actual text files.

(Although the italics are difficult to get nice, I guess.) Just a trial below:
