Sounds like a fun tourney - Sign me up to play Later Scotts Isles and Highlanders. Now that will be a fun army to play with against all those lancers and pikes!

I would like to have a go please with Galatians.

I am very new to the game, been playing a couple of weeks or so. Not entered any tournaments or anything. Does that mean I get 400 points?

I will play however many points I get :)

Hello Andy. It most certainly does mean you get 400pts. :D Consider yourself entered. Try and get a practice game in with someone. I will be making the first round draw on Sunday so visit the forum regularly from then on. Good luck!

All right, screw it: I'm in! Sign me up for Fatamid Egyptian, please.

As far as experience goes, I am not entirely a beginner, nor would I call myself experienced. I played for a while a long time ago, and am just getting back into the FoG:D thing now. Because of the lure of this tournament, in fact. So put me in whatever category you think appropriate, and I will muddle along.

We are up to 50 entrants now and there are still 14 slots left! :D A full list of those who have entered is available on the first page of this thread.

Important: The deadline for registering in the tournament will be midday (UK time) on Sunday.

The draw for the first round will be made shortly afterwards and will be posted on the forum by 2 pm. Players may then start their matches.

You will not be entered into the draw if you have not named your army by the Sunday deadline.

I should just say that there are still 50 invitational PM's sitting in my outbox - and there are about another 20 players who have read the invitation and who may yet join the competition.

Question: what will happen if a game doesn't play through to a conclusion?

It's been very rare in the friendly games I've played, but maybe in a tournament you could get a situation where one guy has MF and is sitting in bad terrain and refusing to come out, and the other chap has pikes and lancers and doesn't want to go in. What then?

If a draw is agreed quickly in a game, the two players should notify me immediately and I will usually sanction a replay. But if I don't think there is going to be time to complete a second game then I will toss a coin and announce the winner.
