MikeC (Croatian 625AD ) def wmpryor (Syracusan 280BC) 46-11.
Flanking cavalry caused a series of chain routs along the Syracusan right and bad luck with numerous failed CTs and double drops prevented wmpryor the chance to stabilize the situation.

DanZanzibar (Arab) defeats rougedjack (Babylonian) 42-9
A real tough matchup for the Chariots and massed archers of the ancient city against lancers and spears. Thanks for the game!

Division 2 result:
Tomoegozen (Slave Revolt) defeats Captainwaltersavage (Egyptian 664BC) 54-20.
I pushed all of my quality slaves forward as quickly as possible in two lines on the left whilst trying to hide my poor quality troops in bad terrain towards the right rear. My second line of good quality troops quickly swung right into the Egyptian centre which simply imploded on impact with double drops , frags and disruptions all over the place in two turns of combat. My opponent had terrible luck in those two turns and it pretty much finished the game for him as he now had a huge whole in his centre in to which I poured more of my quality troops. Once they got in amongst the Egyptian spear and archers it was all over.
Thank you to my gracious opponent for the game , and sorry for your bad luck.

Div 3 result
33 roguedjack @ Galatian 280-63 BC vs wmpryor @ Greek 227-146 BC
roguedjack defeated wmpryor 50:24
After 11 turns of a balanced affair everything suddenly went wrong for the Greeks on the 12th turn. I should have won on my left and lost on my right, but despite the odds my right held and even revived while I won all my favorable odds fights on the left and the center decisively at the same time. Had the rng god be more reasonable and distributed the losses fairly the game would have continued, and in the long run I thought I would lose the game.
I wish wmpryor better luck next game!

Div 3 result
18 Deeter @ Etruscan 490-331 BC - roguedjack @ Lysimachid 320-281 BC
roguedjack defeated Deeter 53:27
Quality prevailed over quantity. The Etruscans cunningly disguised their raw hoplites as cute baby seals trying to soften the Lysimachid hearts but it backfired as the phalanxes thought it was hunting season. After the battle the Lysimachids were disapointed to find no seal meat or skin usable.
PS: my opponent started calling his raw hoplites "baby seals" so I joined in on the joke, I'm not making fun of him.

Division 2 result:
rbodleyscott (Spartans) drew against Rob123 (Huns) 33-37
A hard fought draw. The Spartans were saved by nightfall, otherwise the Huns would have eventually won.

Division 2 result:
Tomoegozen (Bruttian) defeats rbodleyscott (Lusitanian) 45-18.
I managed to rush most of my mediums , including a lot of the superior ones in to a rough mountain area on the left where they were able to beat the Lusitanian mediums in one on ones , eventually setting up some flanks. Meanwhile on the more open right the rest of my mediums tried very hard to stay away from the Lusitanian warbands as much as possible. In this they weren't very successful but fortunately enough damage had been done on the mountain before things went too bad on my right.
Thanks to Richard for a good game that was a lot closer than the score suggests.
