thanks for the continuous updates!
This mod is so awesome!! I started it again recently and the mod has evolved so much (for the better!). For example, here I am only on the barbarossa map and so many improvements since I tested it a few years ago! for example, there are no longer waves of enemy planes like before, we feel that the Russians have retreated behind the Stalin line, we can therefore regroup, rest and refine strategies. also quite a few new secondary objectives, it's very pleasant. (like TV propaganda).
Some suggestions (I don't even know if it's possible, so sorry if it seems crazy) and reviews :
- I would like units with big heroes (like Whitmann or Rudel) to be better identifiable, like for example a yellow Messhersmidt 109 for Hans Joachim Marseille (in BF mod) : why not do the same with a black plane for Rudel or a color ( camo) a little different. All messhermidts 109 for example look the same (same color for the core units)
- is it possible to explain the role of units like medics, ammunition trucks or units that carry "signs"? in fact they are useful or useless?
- the reconnaissance units (HQ) do not detect anti-tanks when you activate them (even at 2 squares!), it's a little frustrating, we have the impression that they are not of much use i. Why not not detect anti-tanks at least within 2 squares?
-there is an anti-mine plane in barbarossa map and it only does 1 damage to the mines, is this normal?
- there is no bridge unit in south( near odessa) for romanian units. maybe this is intended but is it realistic?

Hello Jeffoot77, a few awnsers, more will follow.

Why not not detect anti-tanks at least within 2 squares? ***** The AT guns have the "camo" trait. You can not spot them untill you walk in to them or move into the hex next to them. This is because the AT guns were used in ambush situations most and to make the AT guns more important in the game.

--> personnaly, i play only 2 turns by day and each turn take me more than hour. (i take time)

***** The problem is that we have a lot of graphics of units like ambulances who do not have a function in the game. Most of the time you get an order to bring this units somewere on a place on the map and get prestige points if the unit arrives. As the unit get destroyed you have to pay prestige points. So I try to give this units a function because I think it's nice, like the Civil aircraft of Lufthansa in the Poland scenario. Ammo/Fuel/Supply trucks do have a function because they activate Ammo/Fuel/Supply depots by putting them on the depot. Combat units can be overstrength than with ammo or fuel. This must be activated in making the scenario, not every scenario has this option. The units that carry signs have the function to mark a path for your units in the very big maps if you want that. So for example if you cleared a road from mines you can place a route sign for your incoming units to follow. Recovery units who you can purchase as a transport of tank units have a higher movement unit as the tank itself. So if the tank unit get a lot of damage and you want to retreat the unit, switching to the recovery unit gives the unit more movement to retreat.

***** Take a good look at the symbols under the unit. Only the air units with a seamine symbol with a red cross have a max effect on seamines. Other air units do not have that. (There are 2 different Bv-138 units in the scenario. Only one is anti seamine.

***** In update v3.00 there will be a Romanian "Major Bridge" added in the Barbarossa scenario near Odessa.

Maybe in your next version you're realize a this kind of transport ?

Hello to the entire PHCAS mod team,
Thank you for your wonderful mod.
I'm currently playing the GC DLC and I'm surprised not to receive any bonus units.
I arrived at the Reims scenario of GC40 (after doing GC39) and I still don't have any bonus units!
Have you changed the process?

Yes Budapest scenario for the Big Campaign 1939-1945 and Pacific. It takes time beside all the other work but it is planned.

Hi glaude1955,
I think I know whats going on. Germany (country 0) had the SE (bonus) units. Because we made SS units country 37 in the mod, there are no bonus units anymore in country 0, they are in country 37 now. (except the SE air units in the Afrika campaign) So I think that no bonus units are showing up because they moved from country 1 to country 37.
So in all the scenarios country 37 have to be added on the German side. Than the player can purchase core SS units (no bonus). We have to test if the scenario's will use the country 37 bonus units in the campaign.
