Hi PzNWolf

The VOMAG three axles low floor chassis had been developed as bus and heavy lorry chassis in the 1930s. Presumably early in 1940, 21 to 24 vehicles were manufactured as Selbstfahrlafette – self-propelled guns - and as Flakmesstruppkraftwagen – anti aircraft survey party motor vehicles.

The Selbstfahrlafetten VOMAG were in use exclusive by 1. Bataillon of Flak Regiment 42. The guns received an armoured shield later in the war.

Dive biplane ? Another Luftwaffe Wonderwaffe ? Never saw it ... Go on.
In the early 1930s, the Luftwaffe command began to become interested in aircraft capable of dive bombing. Therefore, it asked German factories to design such an aircraft. The Gerhard Fieseler GmbH factory from Kassel responded to this demand by presenting the design of the Fieseler Fi 98 aircraft and Henschel Flugzeugwerke A.G. from Schönefeld near Berlin, which presented the design of the Henschel Hs 123 aircraft. The aircraft entered service at StG 162 in autumn 1936. Its career as a dive bomber was cut short when the unit received its first Ju 87A the next year.

Yea, Hs 123 was a good Assault Biplane. But...

Assault - defeating ground and sea targets using small arms and cannon weapons ( cannons and machine guns ), as well as missiles . This method of destruction turns out to be more suitable for striking extended targets, such as clusters and especially marching columns of riflemen (infantry), weapons and military equipment. The most effective strikes are against openly located manpower and unarmored vehicles ( cars , unarmored tractors and the equipment they tow, railway transport ). To perform this task, the aircraft must operate at low altitude without diving (“ low-level flight ”) or with a gentle dive (at an angle of no more than 30 degrees ).

So, Hs 123 can be switched to “ low-level flight ” - not for "dive" (SA/HA +, INI, AD -, reconmove).
