batesmotel (Imperial) 2% beat Hrothgar (Bohemian Revolt) 47%
batesmotel (Catholic League) 21% beat Hrothgar (Early Swedish) 48%

Thanks for two good games. In the first game, the Bohemian tercios succumbed to the massed fire power of the Imperial later tercios. In the second game which was played on an extra wide map which I didn't notice until after picking the Catholic League troops, the extra width was mostly negated by the presence of two large blocks of woods in the center of the map. The Swedes decided to march there deadly salvo brigades and most of their cavalry around the woods to get to the Catholic right flank but by the time they got there, the Catholics had chewed up enough of the Swedish weak right flank that the Swedish brigades and cavalry superiority weren't enough to catch up before the Swedes broke.

Last 2 results before Caracole II :

Me and Tullius had 1 victory each, again we won when we picked up the sides.

Me late imperial-spanish Italian wars 38 % - 62 % Tullius : a messy game with units going a bit here and there, lighter cav prevailed at the end.

Tullius Swedish Salvo 59 % - Spanish me 60% (!!!) crazy game as you can see, really cool. He got me down 20 -0 but I managed a weird come back, basically all of his slavo end up routed whereas his cav and artillery gave him the victory. Was supposed to be the opposite, isnt it ? Anyway, very funny game, if we had wanted to make it 59-60 we probably wouldnt make it but at the end that s what we got .

batesmotel (Early Swedish) 5% beat deadtorius (Catholic League) 59%

Everything pretty much worked right for the Swedes. The Catholic tercios and later tercios sat back and absorbed fire while they alternately backed up and then advanced to their original positions again.
My second game with Deatorius is still in progress but should finish fairly soon. Thanks for the game.

batesmotel (Transylvanian) 48% beat deadtorius (Catholic League) 63%

The Transylvanian foot wasn't mostly lost against the Tercios and the Catholic mounted succembed to the Transylvanian mounted. In the end it came down to whether the remain Transylvanians could take down any of the ercios and in the end they manged to take down two of them. Thanks for a great game.

My Spanish 35/48 defeated Guillaume“s French 43/48 in a densely terrain-packed battlefield that made our armies fight in a narrow frontage.

I had an early advantage as some of his infantry regiments became disrupted by fire and I charged them negating their impact superiority. After a while the french made a comeback when his regiments in reserve threatened to engulf the spanish ones, but in the end I managed to rout 60% of his army.

Thank you for the game. The rematch, an Italian Wars Spanish vs French, awaits!

Nikgaukroger French defeated my Spanish in a 30YW battle. TheFfrench fought very well and managed to charge three of my units on the flank in the same turn after breaking my battleline.

The moment of the battle was one of my broken P&S regiments rallying to fragmented only to be inmediately charged in the rear and broken again by an enemy mounted unit that was pursuing another unit :D

Three games remaining to finish!

In the other battle with nikgaukroger, my Italian Wars Spanish barely defeated his French, in an agonic battle that finished just two turns before the limit, and no for lack of fighting on both sides!

Thank you Nik for the two games.
