Re: Am creating new balanced MP scenarios

Thanks, McGuba - that's an excellent selection of Soviet transport vehicles and I'm sure they'd make a great addition to the scenarios.
I've been reviewing the German transports for the scenario units and think that there perhaps should be some changes. It would appear that half-tracks might be more appropriate than the in-game standard Opel Blitz truck for the towed guns of the Panzer Divisions.
Here are some historical prime movers for the towed/motorised units, showing what they are in the standard game and what they could be changed to.
The numbers in brackets are the number of these units in each formation.
German Armoured (Panzer) Division:
Panzergrenadiers (Wehrmacht Inf 43) (4) - keep as three in Opel Blitz, one in Sd.Kfz. 251/1
15 cm sFH 18 (1) - Opel Blitz -> Sd.Kfz. 7
10.5 cm leFH 18 (1) - Opel Blitz -> Sd.Kfz. 6 or Sd.Kfz. 11
3.7 cm FlaK 37 (1) - Opel Blitz -> Sd.Kfz. 11 [The 37mm is chosen to represent a mixture of 20mm, 37mm and 88mm guns. Could use the 20mm Flakvierling instead, in which case, they might also use the Sd.Kfz. 11]
Pioniere 43 (1) - keep as Opel Blitz
German Infantry Division:
15 cm sFH 18 (1) - change to horse transport
10.5 cm leFH 18 (3) - change to horse transport
7.5 cm Pak 40 (1) - Opel Blitz -> Sd.Kfz. 10
Pioniere 43 (1) - keep as Opel Blitz
Corps troops/army troops/attached troops:
21 cm Mrs 18/17 cm K.18 - Sd.Kfz. 7 -> Sd.Kfz. 8 or Sd.Kfz. 9. From elsewhere on the internet:
21 cm Nebelwerfer 42 - Opel Blitz -> Sd.Kfz. 11
Bruckenpioniere - don't know, perhaps keep as Opel Blitz
Thoughts?
I also think I should create different graphics for the K. 18 and Mrs 21 cm German heavy artillery. I can see in photos that there is a size difference between the two but, other from that, I can't tell them apart. Any identifying features? Which one does the standard game graphic represent?
Also, what vehicle does the standard Soviet Truck graphic represent? A Studebacker US6?

For the disassembled guns the SdKfz 7 were used for towing the lorries with the barrels weiging about 8 tons and the SdKfz 8 were used for towing the cradles and carriages weighing around 13 tons.
