Battle has commenced......
pantherboy HYW English (Continental Late) with all 32 longbows, backed by armoured knights and men-at-arms @53 BPs
davouthojo Late Highland & Isles, with spearmen, HW and highlanders @76 BPs
The incumbent king won initiative and picked the battlefield with the high ground all on one side, with a continuous slope of steep and regular hills stepping down, broken by a few lakes and marshes....typical Scottish/Northern England country
Will generalship or attrition win?

CheAhn Komnenan Late 28/39 defeats Dazzam Early Crusader 59/58.
Much closer than the end result implies. The Crusaders were on track to rumble over the Byzantines but the extra heavy elite Varangians saved the day. Special mention must go to the Crusader allies, without them the Komnenans were just dead meat walking.
Thanks Dazzam

Hi Rex, I'll pick up the game against your early Greeks and leave the panther to duel with the Spartans. The Persian (a) is the list for Cyrus the Great and his conquest of Median, Babylon, Anatolia and the Middle east. Xerxes invasion army is the (c) list I think but I will accept the challenge with the (a) list as requested.

Fine with me. So you'd like both my brother and me to be Macedonian or does Klay have a different setup?
Cheers,
Kjng pantherboy
PS: Pikes in very crowded terrain, nasty

but fun
