it was a great game. Went the full number of turns....phew.

The terrain, especially, was against both of us. Virtually the whole battlefield was steep hills and rough going. Perfect for a cavalry army and heavy foot army to operate....NOT!!!!

Thanks NobbyNobbs.

That will be recorded as a draw as neither side has broken. (stockwellpete)
Definitely! really close game, I got luck with it ending in the end though, couldn't bring my reserves to battle properly and was taking too many casualties! Thank god for nightfall :D

Thank you, guys.
As Gorrick and others have noted, I like the fact that there's nine different armies.
A very enjoyable section.
Extra thanks to Pete for making the effort of putting it together.

Thanks Anders. I feel this section is the hardest to win both because you are asked to use nine different armies and the match-ups are not always exactly equal (I try to balance this where I have two slightly uneven match-ups by making sure that players get one slightly stronger army and one slightly weaker one). The idea is that eventually the "From . . . to . . . " section will eventually move to the Themed Event section as the other core sections are added when DLC's permit. We will start "Early Middle Ages" in Season 3 (replacing "Enemies of Rome") and we still have "Biblical" and "High Middle Ages" to come.
