You finish on time to be ready for Tobi's "Cold Breeze"
I try to have a tone that represent the mindset of each commanding officers, and that can give clues to what will come next in the following chapters.
The US one tend to be rather patriotic, indeed
The number of missions depend of what I need to tell in the chapter : this one had 3 (its not the first time, the russian chapter in Syria had the same number), or 4 if you count the Bastille Day scenario. It was essentially a glorified utilitary scenario that was needed to give core units to a player that would want to start his journey from chapter 2; so it don't really count as a scenario.
This chapter had :
0- Parade on the Champs-Elysées (that can count or not. I have considered better to skip it in my mission numerotation) ;
1- Infiltration/sabotage in the Donbass (you forgot this one on your list) ;
2- Formation of the LIR and defense of Ternopil ;
3- Peace treaty mission.
Among what I already wrote, my shortest chapter is 2 scenarios long (it will be in part 4), and the longest is 7 scenarios long.
The 1st ukrainian chapter was already suposed to be 7 scenarios long but I have not finished it, I'm not sure why. If I remind well, that was because the MC update that allowed to create campaigns was released, so I wanted to try the system immediately with map pack I already completed and forget to finish the ukrainian chapter
That's why the 4 first ukrainian missions are available as a map pack and not as a campaign yet : 3 scenarios are still missing before I can made a complete chapter with them.
By the way, I should now finish it
It's decided, I make the 2nd UK campaign, then I return complete this one!
The Turkish start will await.

Let's be honest at the end we all like to play in the battle in Ukraine yes it's a bit cynical but that's where new technologies and blitzkriegs + special forces and mercenaries from all over the world are being tested ))) We have a game and we can afford to kill virtual pixels the main thing here is not to fall into political demagoguery and not to throw tantrums because history will be written by the winners ))))
The AI played a little better for Nato )))) But by turn 12 the Ukrainian army together with the hosts ceased to exist at all and I had to click and roll my units out of boredom ))))
It turns out that I still played a great game, although I had a little less troops, but something was not for the diamond victory of the same mission when the AI led the Russians)))
In the next map again on the reverse AI again mercilessly merged Ukrainians and Americans )))) The sad thing is that you can't play the parade on the reverse, well, there on the column was attacked by some rebels fighting against something against someone ))))

Since I studied history for 5 years, I have to react

: in fact, history is written by... historians.
It's just that, according to where they work, they may have a political power (or a national ego) behind them telling them (or not) to direct the tone.
Historians, or everyone wanting to push a certain view.
Example: Argentinians may have lost the Falkland war, they have their own strong opinions about what happened. I've recently read an Argentinian comics about the war (the air war, mainly), and at the end the reader may have a strong impression that the Argentinians totally dominated the war and just peacefully agreed to fall back after a bloodbath suffered by the British.
Everyone write its own story
I close the parenthesis about who write history, that's not the topic.
it was a leftover from my student period that forced me to reply
we all like to play in the battle in Ukraine
I hope you are not closed to the idea of changing location; Ukraine was the focus of part two, but we'll travel across Europe and beyond in future parts

I am ready to fight anywhere in the world for any nation, the main thing is that the missions would be interesting and could challenge such a seasoned fighter like me))) But sometimes AI is dumb, but it has a lot of bots)))

Hello!
I finally returned into the scenario editor
The first scenario of the upcoming British campaign is ready (but not released).
Like the other british scenarios until now, it has a close scale : you will command your British veterans from Afghanistan (if you played their 1st chapter, of course

) in a military exercise with the Estonians.
Next scenarios of this chapter will be focused on air and naval operations (but not during an exercise, this time). In total, this chapter will have 3 scenarios.
That's all for now

I'm advancing faster than I thought, but it will depend on whether Tobi releases his campaign before I finish it. I too want to play new scenarios
In the best case, it can be ready by the end of the weekend.

It's always like this with us here, it's always thick and thin )))) But I'm even thinking of replaying the American company's first act in Syria if you don't plan changes and fixes there too )))) And waiting for Toby to give birth ....

Imeror, I've got you figured out. You're not waiting for the campaign, you're waiting for the units and buildings!

I'll be ready soon.

As soon as I'm done with that, I'll dedicate myself to your campaign. So far I've only had time for the first parade mission.

You finished first! You fell into my trap! Now I can steal every assets and idea, mwahahaha!
Nah, my campaign already have calm scenarios planned; just peaceful patrols in the Baltic Sea. What could go wrong ?
Regardless, this chapter is postponed. Obviously it won't be released this week.
The delay will not be that long, but first I have an expedition to the North to attempt.

You can finish it in peace because I am already in the North )))) Don't rush though and then there will be a huge waiting window, but then maybe greedy Toby will give you his new cool objects ))))

I especially should start to make mines. I've started to really look at the scenario editor one year ago, and I've still not tried to create objects myself

Very good because I'm starting to freeze already in this bloody North Russians of course warm but it's not a gracious fire )))) Waiting for your release )))) And I have little faith that the new version 2.15 will be released soon because according to the stories and shows of Akkula there will be a lot of changes, for example, ships will be able to switch to anti-aircraft fire, and this may lead to the old tactics are already obsolete ))))) well, let's see ......

Hello, time for an update
I updated US campaigns 1 and 2 and their map pack so that the player is awarded with more prestige points. His income will be higher as well as the awards he get for a decisive or marginal victory. The player particularly have more prestige before and after Afrin (4st scenario), since the scenario is quite difficult. You need ressources to hold and something to compensate for your potential casualties after your victory.
You will not get rich, but you will be able to spare prestiges for better equipment in upcoming campaigns.
Same link as usual, on first post.
I'll be back (too much references about Schwarzy) for UK chapter 2 around the end of the week!
Edit : I nearly forgot. 4 ukrainian auxiliary units are added to US mission 6, representing the 105th territorial brigade.
It was initially part of the campaign but I deleted them. Now, I change my mind again and put them back
