Hi,
I've completed the first two missions.
Fortunately, the drone has enough fuel to make it to the end.
I really liked the way you played the enemy patrols...I felt like I was in Takeshi's Castle!
Very entertaining. Mini-campaigns are my thing!
I'll continue tomorrow.

Good thing it's a concept that pleases people, I intented to make one more infiltration in the next campaign. Not many more, people may be bored if I put one infiltration mission in each pack X)
Ah, Takeshi's castle... Nostalgia...
So, Uzbek !
Thanks to the AI Copilot, I've made a russian version of the 1st british pack. It should help you see more clear what you need to do.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/jn97bnum ... n.rar/file
However, I've not translated the campaign, it would make the link between each campaigns too chaotic for me.
If you want to create your core for the next british campaign, I suggest you play them twice. Map pack in russian first to know what you need to do, then the campaign in English.
It took a little bit longer than expected, since Copilot REFUSED to translate some texts, since he considered he can't translate something violent or about world politics in russian. I tried in Italian, and he had no problem. Go figure why.
So, two russian texts were consequently translated by google translate and so may be... less good
Have fun !

Thanks for your concern )Big texts don't scare me as much as my own laziness and passion for the process of playing the game itself ) I have to turn off the game every time, turn on the AI translators and so on until the next deadlock where logic alone is not enough ))))

The third mission was my favourite so far. It didn't go so well on the first run through, it was more like ‘the last one bites the dogs’

and ‘save yourself if you can’. The pressure that the opponents built up on all sides was enormous, so from round 23 onwards I started to retreat. It was only enough for an easy victory, I would have preferred to stay in the city and let the attackers bleed out on my defence.

Everything would be fine, but I don't understand how to install it )))) I throw in my documents folder Mods but in the game itself there is no Russian version or the game will not exit ) Throw with the replacement of files disappears text and in the game appear frames and only a black screen naturally play so is not possible ( So you can instruction !!!! Or should I unzip your Russian file but install as separate single maps while my core will fight in future English company sequels ?

Hmmmm, that's weird. I have made this Russian version like any other map pack, you shouldn't have any problem. It's exactly the same folder than the original version in English, the only thing that change is that the scenario texts are in Russians.
Just leave your game in English and put the 4 scenarios of the downloaded russian folder version in "Documents/My Games/Panzer Corps/Scenario, it should work.

The pressure that the opponents built up on all sides was enormous, so from round 23 onwards I started to retreat.
That was a very interesting replay to watch.
I wanted to make sure that the player could not insert any units by helicopters (other than the initial insertion, of course) by putting 3 ZSU with extra range and attack value, and even warned the player in a text box that every helicopter will have a great chance to be quickly shot down after round 4; but there are big holes in the AA net, obviously
I'll not change it: it not breaks the scenario, and let's say that brave pilots can take their chances.
You were VERY unlucky with the enemy heavy MG unit nearly the southern edge of the map. This poor SAS unit was personally targeted by the god of the RNG and surprisingly received a huge amount of damage each time they were attacked
I wanted a "Black Hawk Down" inspired scenario. An (apparently) easy mission that get worse at each step, with the player troops isolated inside an hostile city. I also intended to put a downed helicopter to rescue, but after testing it, it was already enough chaotic like that

Since I'm playing these scenarios as single maps so far I decided to try all 4 ) So the third map is capture and bomb disposal ) There are questions I have to guard these important points near A until the 30th turn or as soon as my sappers arrive at point A I can withdraw my units to point B ? And also the mission is considered failed if the sappers are killed, but I often have the furthest SAS unit dies, but the game continues although they should retreat to point B
Hello !
I've not wrote it directly because I thought it was logical: but yes, you don't need to keep A once the bomb was defused.
You even need to, otherwise you can't leave the city
About the key units killed: To be short, I was lazy and didn't put defeat conditions for those situations.
If the SAS can't escape or if the Sappers don't defuse the bomb, victory conditions can't be accomplished anyway. So the player have already lost, and he know it.
However, a message can be confusing in your situations: I just realized that if the player loss the sappers AFTER defusing the bomb, he still have the message telling him that he can't him and should abort the mission... Yet he can still win anyway since the bomb was already defused and the unit is not needed anymore
I should remove this message in a next update, or put a tag to disactive this message once the bomb is defused. Or directly send the player to the defeat screen, I'll see.
However, you had a defeat screen in the last mission... can you send me the replay, so that I can see if I made a mistake in the victory conditions.
I tested it multiple times and didn't have this situation.

Hi !
Fine I just pointed out to you with what I was dealing with of course better fix and make everything more logical )You have each episode a little interesting film bravo !!!!

Hello!
Some news from the next chapter, that is almost finished.
For context, this will be the second of the long American campaign; you will therefore be able to use the core that you developed in Syria during the 4 scenarios of the first US chapter. Like the other two chapters of this part, your army will be deployed in Ukraine.
It will be made up of 3 scenarios, and will return to more classic gameplay for 2 of them. The first part of my general story was mostly about low-intensity operations, that allowed me to experiment with different gameplay, but the second part focuses on more regular battles; this chapter will therefore follow this logic. Less scripts, more explosions
The exception will be the first scenario.
You'll start with another stealth mission, in which you will have to sabotage key ennemy assets.
I have decided to re-use the first map of Akkula's NATO campaign. It is one of the first map that a player try when he discover the mod (at least, in my case); and since it is nearly 10 years old, it's a kind of tribute (with more than a year in advance

) that allow to explore it in a different way.
It is a stealth mission, but unlike the others I've done so far you will be allowed to use force to accomplish your objectives
Scenarios two and three are more classical battle situations : one in defense, the other one in attack.
If everything go well, the chapter will be available the next week, both as a map pack and as a campaign.
Like a wise man once said : "I'll be back"

This is a very interesting update if possible include in your companies and Russian language as sometimes it is difficult to understand how to destroy the tower of Babel ) Otherwise no complaints as you always have interesting missions and tasks )

Hello !
Works on US chapter 2 are going well.
I encountered an unexpected difficulty, but I bypassed it with the creation of a 4th scenario, once again one with a special concept

Ok, that sound weird, but I'll explain it better with the release of this chapter.
This 4th special scenario will be playable exclusively in the campaign (not in the map pack) and will happen before the 3 main missions.
Just a clue if someone want to guess what it will be about : it will involve
galettes and
boudins
I'm in the last phase of my work. Scenarios are finished, I need to do what is around : images, fix translation, modify the equipment file for the campaign, create the campaign file itself, etc...
I can confirm : it should be ready during the week
Once again : I'll be back... but with gifts, next time

Well we wait with caution (
well it's not the first time you come up with the idea to let the player pass a section of the map in stealth mode between enemy horde patrols and kpp )))) and great curiosity of your continuation ) I know what galettes are but Budins confuse me ))))

Le Boudin is the marching song of the French Foreign Legion. It is named after the blue canvas that was tied in the shape of a sausage (“boudin”) on the knapsack of the French Foreign Legionnaires.

But it has nothing to do with the Scythians either )))) Well td it will be not only interesting but also curious )
