Oh, I was thinking of the Shilka, but it can also be modeled to be used in ground combat. Like in Pak-Mod, I think almost all Flak are available in ground combat as well. Why don't you ask Akkula if he would upgrade?

Shark has a global mod and he is guided there by the game balance, you have a local one, feel the difference? )

In global mods the death of one unit is just a statistic ) In local mods one Rapira anti-tank gun stopped Romanians and Moldovans in Transnistria )

Having a modern assault rifle with extra features and accessories is a luxury for the cool and rich armies ) In localised conflicts everything shoots even a stick ))

My music teacher when he was young served in Afghanistan so he told me that an old ancient musket used to hole the cab of a Kamaz through and through because you can see old photos where armoured waistcoats are attached to the doors of Soviet military trucks )
Так что есть разница когда твою колону разгромили в третей мировой войне и обстреляли одну машину в локальной из рогатки с шариком от подшипника )))

To me, this reads like you're slightly unhappy with the weapon selection in this campaign. I have done my best for a campaign and for the fact that I am still quite unskilled at unit building.

But I still hope that you and others will have some fun and excitement as you progress through the campaign.

I noticed that neither you nor Imeror bought and deployed a tactical bomber. It's not that bad with a bit of experience and also has a greater radius of action.

Don't worry for the unit selection, it's good. I still hope that there are still more to unlocks in future scenarios (it gives a feeling of progression, but it's not essential), but since you have created everything it's totally understandable that you can't make hundreds of units. The player has enough choice to make it's own core, it's enough.
You have created your own units for your custom campaign, that's already something.

I mentioned at the beginning when I started working on the campaign that it is technically not possible to add a new nation. There are coded borders for this. So we have to be satisfied with this solution of the flags and turn a blind eye.
I begin to look how to customize more a campaign, can't you copy the "flags" folder in your campaign and replace "4.png" by the soviet flag of base panzer corps? I have not tried it yet, but I guess it should do the trick, no?

Core is limited, so I have to take the unit that could do the most.
Hind have 9 SA (that's big), so they can both reduce ennemy fortification BUT a Hind can also really do damage to ennemy units. Plus, a strike bomber have generally a better air defense stat that is included in it's price (even if I've not checked if you have modified the stats). Since the ennemy AA defenses should be low, Hind are more appropriate. (edit : wait, remind me when the ennemy will begin to receive stingers?

)
I abandon range advantage, but it should be more decisive where it can act.

I may be wrong now but I tried it with the flags, strangely the main game doesn't use the campaign here but just uses the flag pool from the main game. I tried this with the Israeli flag and it only worked for me in the campaign when I made a lot of changes in the main game. But as already mentioned, maybe I haven't understood everything properly yet.

I have also tried a new background music, but this only works if I add the new music to the main folder of the game. It's strange, new units, device files, pictures, heroes etc. are all accepted by the main game from the campaign but other things can't be displayed without changing the main game.

And yes, there is of course a constant increase in the arsenal of weapons. But where is the excitement if I have everything at my disposal in the very first mission?

As far as I can remember, I didn't manipulate anything on the original units, but only set the values on my own units as I imagined them. The only thing is the units, such as the paratroopers in mission 1 or the Hind in mission 2, which appear as extras with the heroes.

I'm also a "beginner" in custom creation campaign, but I intend to look at it in my next pack planned.
If I find anything that you missed, I'll let you know.
About music, may I suggest you to still post it with a tutorial for the user to install it in the main MC mod; so that we have the "full experience".

As long as it not replace anything inside, it should not provoke any problem.

Yes that would be nice, thanks!
Ok I can provide the background music. Save the original folder first of course.

If you watched my replay carefully you could see that my Mi-8 paratroopers made rocket and bomb strikes until we ran out of ammunition and had to leave the helicopters to recharge on the ground ) The fitcha of replenishing the paratroop transport near the airfield does not work like with other types of aviation ) Well and bomber why should I buy them when there is a flying tank Mi-24 even though it is more expensive and does not fly very far but in reality it was a storm of spirits before the emergence of stingers ))))) And don't forget that the Mi-24 in reality is not only an attack aircraft but also had a salon for 10 fighters who could be dropped off ....

Background music.
Make a copy of the original music folder beforehand!
Unzip the folder and insert the ingame_desert file into the music folder of the main game.

Of course, everyone has their own strategy. I like fighting with the Hind, but I bought two tactical bombers during the campaign because of the range and got good results with them, mainly because I was lucky enough to get an extra +5 attack points during the missions. Towards the end it (SU-25)was an absolute killer.

Really amazing phenomenon okay Israeli flag with the star of David is not in the original vanilla game but the Soviet flag is there originally and by default )
