hi Guys - no offense taken. I've won lots of games and lost lots too, so at this point I don't really care. It's fun to play even a bad situation just to mess around and see what can be achieved. I had a tough time from the beginning because Morris was able to occupy the Leige fortress, and then I had constant mud, leading to a very late fall of france. But even if it fell early, I think I would have a hard time dealing with Morris' aggressive posture.

I learned a couple of useful things -- defending UK seemed relatively easy. Even with 3rd rate troops defending, the allies had a long slog forward. Also a tip I picked up from Cybvep was to be a bit smarter about shifting the Luftwaffe around, and timing it to the weather. The Med was obviously a cake-walk for the Axis (until the very end of course), and I was surprised I managed to take egypt so easily. It was fun going back in forth there even though it didn't really affect the game. I also had a fun time decimating the Allied fleets, though again this wasn't a game winning issue. I was happy with myself for remembering to let the Romanians get annihilated just before their traitorous switch, and to garrison capitols with more reliable troops.

As for the Dyle Plan, I'm not convinced it makes the Allies too strong, as we can see from the critique of my play, and the results of other ongoing AARs.

Anyway, congratulations to Morris for his victory!

Canadian activation was delayed in the latest update, so I don't think that Dyle will be OP. It has some advantages, but it also has some disadvantages, too. It's also weather-dependent.

I can say, that combined with bad weather/sietzkrieg and extensive UK troops building and sending them to France/Belgium Dyle plan can be major pain for axis.
You can probably hold France until bad weather arrives in 1940 autumn, even if axis delay some labs. It cripples UK indeed, but it also ruins 1940 Sealion and 1941 Barbarossa by any means.
Anyway, I am not sure, have only limited experience with it.

How exactly Canadian troops spawn "delayed"? I already noticed, that fighter nowadays spawns in Canada, not in Britain.

They will always spawn in Mar 1940 now, not in 1939.

No, the new rule applies only when the Allies DOW Belgium. If the Axis DOWs Belgium in 1939, the Canadians will spawn in 1939. The devs consider the old rule to be a "bug" in case of Allied aggression, but I think it's just propaganda and the real reason is balance.
