These guys would be great fun too for the Arab Conquest/Rashidun list

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mubarizun

Though what to classify them as? Elite, light cavalry, armoured sword/bowmen?

Egyptian New Kingdom sprites (from Thutmose III to the Sea Peoples), including chariots. But for obvious reasons, as part of a Swift of Eagles DLC and the attendant scenarios and campaigns.

Mubarizun seems like it wouldn't work as a standalone unit, since it wouldn't do its intended job - killing enemy champions. It would be used to kill skirmishers in game.

Having trained, dedicated champion killers integrated into their fighting units could possibly be part of what justifies the superior grade of the conquest spearmen.

Pyrrhus in Italy should have be the one where he has hoplite and italian foot auxiliaries, while the Pyrrhus in Greece list should be the one with warbands representing Galatian mercenaries and thureophoroi representing Illyrian levies. There could also be pike differences where Italy has the Raw Pikes representing levied Tarantine pikes, while Greece should feature more regular pikes representing Pyrrhus's capture of Macedonian units after the Aoos River.

2) The Antigonid army list should have a Greek ally option. Demetrius the Besieger campaigned pretty heavily in Greece, and Anigonous's lieutenants were very active helping the independent city states against Cassander. Hence why Demetrius and Gonatas were able to retreat there after Ipsus.
Both of these are eminently doable (not requiring new models or textures) and I will look into doing them for a future update.
I have done both of the Pyrrhic list options in the TT Mod.
Just wonder why they don't hire you into the company. Then we can officially got these things(also new flags)no need to download the mod(it takes too long times).

More elite units in the Late Roman Army. Is no one one sadden that we got Comitatenses and Palatina, but no Schole? I feel like Late Romans can really draw in a lot of interesting units for infantry and cavalry alike. Erm, perhaps an army list for Odoacer as well~! Lastly, for Age of Belisarius, the Franks should totally have a elite or highly superior unit called "Frankish Antrustion". I find it weird how such a influential kingdom is too generic while something like ancient Italian states have more flavor.

Late Roman list's Roman lancers may be Roman Scholae although it doesn't have such specific name. If in campaign, you can rename the unit's name to Scholae or whatever you want.(Sadly, custom battle can't do so)

Armoured Noble cavalry or Armoured Lancers can be regarded as Antrustion. However, considering the importance of Frankish Kingdom in history, I'd love to see several unique iconic Frankish models added in the future.

I second that suggestion!

Both Publius Crassus and Titus Labienus led German Cavalry Units with attached "stirrup" light infantry (I know the stirrup did not yet exist, but he saddle design allowed the infantry to hitch a ride). These units gave the Roman Auxiliary Cavalry an extra punch that was decisive in flank skirmishing battles.

If this unit were to be created I would imagine it to be a five figure piece, with the three Cavalry figures and two Infantry figures. That is probably not possible, but a unique unit of Cavalry (and unique appearance) with an added POA to reflect the attached infantry should be possible.

Illyria should get at least one ally. TT mod does have a nice representation of the army of Bardyllis. In the base game, part of that could be simulated by giving them a Greek(Western) or Syracusan ally since we know that Dionysius aided Bardyllis during an invasion of Molossia in 385 BC. Specifically, 2,000 hoplites and 500 sets of Greek armor. Might help make an Illyrian army list more competitive while still retaining the option of the current unique list with it's 8 million Thureophoroi and then nothing else. XD

Do you think we will ever see an exploration on Japanese units from matching time frames? That would create some novel what if scenarios.

I'd also be interested to see an exploration of Homeric style warfare if the system could adopt it.

I know we will never see either of these things, but the question was asked. :)

We might see Homeric if the future Biblical DLC includes Mycenae etc.
